WordPress Theme Facelift
We recently went live with a major design facelift for our client’s, New World Ketubah. In order to feature her products more prominently as well as lighten up her whole color scheme, we switched to a white, more airy background with both a slider showcasing her products and also large thumbnails of her categories as well. Because we were being budget conscience, we decided to modify the existing WordPress theme as opposed to designing and coding it from the ground up. You really can see a difference in the home page however the support pages have the same layout with a metaphorical new coat of paint.

New Home Page

Old Home Page
Seminar Webpage and Email
We were tasked with building a quick web page to link to from an email marketing campaign. We were given some print marketing collateral and told to run with it and fast with a super tight deadline. Below is the webpage:

And here is the corresponding email that we designed. Unlike most email marketing which is done through email marketing software, this was going to be sent out personally one by one by various reps. Therefore, it needed to function for a wide array of email programs and be able to be easily copied and pasted multiple times. So, we designed a simple header and did the rest with text color and size.

Non-Profit Home Page Redesign

We designed this non-profit youth group’s website about a year ago (blogged about here). It was time for a refresh, with social networking integration, larger and more prominent event image slideshow, separation of youth and teen events, yearly calendar of events front and center and a join now zone as part of the header.
Fine Art Magazine Website

The brilliant performance artist Tiffany Trenda started her own online magazine & TV channel dedicated to covering all things related to Performace Art. Her West Coast perspective is much needed as the bulk of the current coverage comes out of New York. We helped her whip this WordPress site into shape, relying on the minimalistic aesthetics of galleries to make the work pop more as a design motif.
A CMS Site for an Artisan Album Company

We just designed, built and launched this WordPress content management system (CMS) site for Cypress Fine Handmade Albums & Boxes. Some of the design considerations included the need for a classy, beautiful product presentation, password protected wholesale areas, integration of their long standing blog and coming soon, e-commerce integration.
Elegant Custom Blog Template

One of our long standing (and really talented) clients, Suthi Picotte uses her company’s blog for a large part of Picotte Photography’s marketing. Therefore, she felt it was time for us to create a custom WordPress blog template/theme to match the site and portal that we had designed in the past. In addition, it was very important that the design and site was responsive so that it would look just as good on a smart phone or iPad as it does on a computer. Mission accomplished :-)
Graphic Design Portfolio Site

We produced and launched this graphic design portfolio site for a dear family member, Debbie Ladas, complete with animated portal page and slider portfolio presentations all viewable on an iPad.

A Dark Site for a Dark Record Label

We are excited to announce that we built and launched a site for Joseph Bishara and his new record label Void Recordings. His aesthetic is very dark so we delivered a design to match, utilizing one of his favorite mediums, scratchboard as a background. We created the site to mimic Flash elements, but still be viewable on iPads and smartphone.

Florist’s E-commerce WordPress Site

We were hired to design and build a hybrid portfolio presentation and e-commerce site for Beverly Blossoms, a florist in Los Angeles. We chose to build in WordPress because its ease of use for the client, combined with good gallery management and e-commerce solutions.
Their flowers are absolutely gorgeous, see for yourself:

We built this site for Beechwood Films to showcase their past, present and future film projects. It is another WordPress site, allowing ease of updates, future blogging capabilities and to be viewable on mobile devices.
